1 month!

I cannot believe Mr. Theo has been here for 1 whole month!  It has been a whirlwind.  I am finally feeling back to my normal (tired & out of shape) self.  Jackson, Nash and Charlie continue to be rockstars.   Theo is trying to keep up with everyone else, never missing an opportunity to eat and napping with one eye opened.  My hands and heart are full.

Cheeks!

Looking like my big brothers Jackson and Nash when they were 1 month!

Celebrating Theo! And only 6 months till Christmas…  ;)

My biggest bro

My favorite weirdo.  The Undie Houdini.  I turned around in the car yesterday to ask Jackson to please stop talking so loud while everyone else was napping and suggest that he 'rest' his eyes too.  Instead I busted out laughing as he was singing with his underwear on his head.  This little guy is the sweetest big brother I could have ever imagined.  He reminds me daily not to take life too seriously.

Happy Father's Day!

If I had one dream for my little boys it would be that they grow up to be as wonderful a dad as their own dad.  We both come from a mighty fine line of awesome dads and I hope to raise these boys the same way.  Thanks to all you wonderful dads out there!

I can't help myself...

Please, please no pictures lady.  You are probably going to post this on some kind of social media or something.  Parents and their cell phones these days.  Get a life mom!

surviving

We are in survival mode over here. This is the first week with just mom and the three bros.  It is not easy.  I know I am supposed to enjoy this time because it goes by so fast and yada yada and I do enjoy it.  I mean like really enjoy it when at least one of them is napping.  But it is hard to 'enjoy' when it is so loud in this house that I cannot think straight, I still have on my milk crusted pjs, and I am eating leftover spaghetti bake for breakfast at 11am wondering when I will magically lose some baby weight.  But we are making it and everyone seems somewhat happy.  I think this blog post sums it up perfectly, 5 Minutes in a Mom's Head.    I am a little too tired to 'blog' these days but will try and keep up dates coming.  There is nothing I love more than looking back at Jackson and Nash when they were this sweet baby age.  So we will keep plugging along because everyone is right, it does go by fast.

Touchdown! Everyone is finally asleep, lets hang out!

SMH

Did you know SMH stands for 'shaking my head' in the texting world.  It took me a while to figure this out, ok I googled it, made fun of it, and now I use it all the time.  Well we had a SMH moment this weekend.  I packed up a nice little bag for Theo for his first weekend trip to visit with family in Wilson.  And as you can guess, we forgot it.  Everything.  Luckily all he really needs is me and a fresh set of diapers.  I guess this little dude better get used to it.

Third child problems mom, at least you remembered me.

Date night

This week is Triangle Restaurant Week, which means you just have to go out to eat.  It is a good chance to try out some new hot spots or some of your favorites for a 3 course meal at a set price.  This year Theo got to go on his first date night with us.  We went to Firebirds and sat at the bar, the most casual and loud restaurant of all the choices, just incase he wasn't feeling it.  I am happy to say the meal was delicious and Theo did not open his eyes the entire time.  I guess we will have to do it again!

What a s-t-u-d.

And while we were away… baseball!

story time

Everyone was really excited to have Theo join in on night time stories.  After this we all slept soundly for a few hours.  And I already lost all my baby weight.  Ha, ha, jk, I haven't even let my sweet husband go back to work full time yet.  How exactly are we supposed to do this again?
