The face of a girl with three older brothers who WILL keep up.
Thanks to Aunt Brittni for this beautiful, clear photo. I kind of want to get that new iPhone, but kids.

Lucky #7!!

After weeks of dreary rainy weather the sun came out on Sunday!  February 24th, right on time for Nash's 7th birthday!  He had a flag football 'mud bowl' - his perfect party.  I have said it once and I will say it hundreds more times, I can't believe he is 7 years old.  He is still the same loud, stubborn, intense, snuggling, brother he has been since the day he was born.

We love you Nash William Farris!

Coach Will on team black!

Go Nash go!

Uncle Clint trying to scoot in, naw dawg!

Go long! (love that tongue)

Serious mud bath out there.  Thanks to other mamas for these pictures.

Thanks to sweet friends for celebrating.

HAPPPYYY BIIRRTHHDAAYYYY DEARRR NASSHHHYYY!

Birthday lunch with dad.  And if Nash was wondering what he will look like when he grows up.  Lucky dude.

Some basketball & donuts & Gatorade for some celebrations with the Jags!

Making his own cookie cake.

Date night!

Charlie and I won tickets to see the musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at a silent auction this past fall.  THANKFULLY, I remembered last minute that we had them and where I had put them...  I took Jackson with me and it was so great!  Our seats were amazing, like 2 rows from the stage amazing.  I told him to soak it in and look way up high at the back row, because that is where daddy and I usually sit.  'So this is like first class!'  We both really enjoyed it - great adult humor and some serious slap stick humor that got Jackson laughing some kind of hard.  And we both stayed awake the entire time, pretty impressive, am I right?!

'Post this and say #goldenticket' -Jackson

'Up front and center, such cool seats.'

Fondue for the win!

Almost 12 years later and we did use that fondue pot!  Talk about a delicious Valentine's chocolate treat bomb.  It was good ya'll, too good.
Like mother, like daughter.  We appreciate the finer things in life.

My Valentine's!

Sneaky sweet, chocolate loving, daughter of mine!  I love every bit of the cheesy heart girl outfits!

'Mr. Steal Your Heart' has been counting down to Valentine's Day.  He made cards for everyone in his class, our neighborhood, his basketball team...  too sweet.

This guy was also very interested in making Valentine's for his class.  Sports themed for the boys and Sloth ones for the girls, haha.  He still gives the biggest hugs (and the loudest yells)

Looks like someone is in the 3rd grade.  He didn't know if they were doing Valentine's for his class...  Mom always find out.  He caved and did sports theme, but only signed his name so he can just stick into friends bags and doesn't have to worry with looking for names... Still my sweet lazy bum.

Monday, Monday...

Got the cold, rainy, Monday, February feels over here today.  To be fair it was 80 last week, 80.  It was glorious and we were all in good moods and played outside all afternoon! But man it was kind of a tease.

Are you ready for some...

FOOTBALL! And baseball evaluations and basketball games and flag football fun.  A tiny look at a busy weekend.  One day when I am old and bored and a little bit rested I will look at these with a warm cup of coffee and wonder why they have to grow up.

UNC Cheerleaders spirit night at JMike's.  So we obviously had to go and throw pop-poms around like footballs.

Goober of a helper.  Feeding early morning breakfast to an ESL group at church the best way we know how, take-out from RISE!

Go Hornets! He counts down to this day all week long.  No other kid actually dribbles down the court, except Zion Williams little brother, so that doesn't even count.

Flag Football and the GOAT coaches!  I don't know who loves it more, the kids, Coach Charlie or my dad - Coach Will.

We hosted a Super Bowl party for our supper club this month - kids and all.  The bros were super pumped about it and we hit up Party City big time for games, supplies and a PiƱata! (Go Patriots!)

Soak it up boys.  They were actually waiting for the commercials - commercial bingo was a hit.

One remains, no shocker here.

We borrowed a neighbors tv for outside and it is kind of awesome.  We still only have one tv in our house but this got me thinking...
