I broke my ankle.  Yup.  Leaving me with my foot propped up staring at a dirty house and yelling for kids to bring back my scooter.  It has left me with time to do some computer work that gets put off and off and off.  I just came across the doctors check-up stats for my crew.  Dr. Snyder - the same doctor for over 11 years now assured me that they are all 'fabbbuuuulllluussss' as Winnie would say.  No one got their head measured but I'll make an educated guess that they still follow that Farris curve of 100%***.

 He is 11!  Does this make him a 'tween?' Is it about to get weird?  He has grown and matured but he is still the exact same goober of a Jackson.  Loves all the sports, all the food, all the games, all the books, but not afraid to cop a hard chill.  I love him even more than I did when he got his first 'blog post' and man is he so much easier!  We love you, Jackson Arthur Farris!!

A birthday W for the Braves! They are headed to the 'ship! Fun fact - they have won more games in the tournament than they did the entire season! Let's go Bravoosss!!

We made a terrible bet.  'If you keep the two fair fish alive for over a year, then we can get a dog.'  Charlie must have really wanted a dog, as he is the only person to have ever cleaned that tiny little 'fair tank.'  So, yes, over a year later, the fish, Rocky & Peyton (I don't know who is who)  are still alive and well.  Alas, the search for a boxer puppy began.  Who knew that during a pandemic everyone would get a puppy?!  It took a while but Charlie spotted this little nugget and put down a payment and we kept a big ol secret for as long as we could.  One Sunday, after a baseball tournament we headed to the puppies, they really had no idea. Ms. Maple!  She is a peeing, jumping, snuggling, chewing mess.  Supposedly this is what puppies do.  We (me, like we already knew, me) are working on her behavior and accidents and she is fitting in just right.
