All-Stars

Jackson got asked to play on the 7-8 year old South Durham Little League All-Star team this summer.    He was super pumped and we were all super proud.  Since we are keeping it real on here and this is my blog so I do what I want, I will say it wasn't the best 'all-star' team in all the lands.  J-man was the youngest on his Rockies team that improved SO much this season.  He was the oldest on the All-Star team that needed some serious improvement, and had a completely different experience and role on the team.  My boy stepped it up! Yes, I am bragging but I am not exaggerating (my blog!) he was the strongest and smartest player on the team.  He played 1st base the entire tournament and backed up every single play, every single time.  He made sure his team knew where to make the play, how many outs they had, and was handing out high-fives like it was his job.  It made my heart burst with pride.  They won a game, had a super close game and got slaughtered twice.  This was a lot better than I expected.  He kept his head up high the entire time.  After the last nail biter of a game with a quivering lip he quietly told me, he was just really frustrated.  I told him that is ok and I didn't blame him one bit and how proud I was of him.  Then he asked 'what's for lunch?'  And that is why he is the best.  May you stay forever strong, happy and loving this life my sweet boy.

What has happened to me?! Atleast it's not a van...

#12 ! My boy was ripping it.

The tournament was in Wilson! We took the team to Dick's Hotdog Stand for lunch and got this awesome welcome.  'All-Merican!'

Hotdogs and french-fries all around.

Let's go green!

Goobers.

Best Bros, cheering on Jackson.

Sweetest sister.  Bless you, Ring Pops.  They kept her busy a good 4 innings.

They also asked someone to help coach! He was pretty fly too.
