Twas' the night after Thanksgiving, then boom, December was over. It was a good one. We are all a little tired, but apparently only one of us (ME!) needs much rest around here. Bring on a new DECADE!
Santa! The real one, was at the SECU house one evening. We know he was real because he took the time to talk to every single kid and get exactly what they wanted for Christmas. Winnie wanted M&M's, like all sweet little girls.
And what were we really there for, the cookies!
S'more action has been in full effect. It has been a cool 60's most of December and we are loving it and our new back yard.
Our first Holiday Parade! The Mayors Cup Champion for Nash and daddy and SDLL All-Stars for Jackson. Theo was there for all of it and didn't miss a chance to wave to anyone.
Also, nachos. We walk. Then we eat nachos.
A clean, first Christmas decorated house. All the decor is Christmas and we are not back to empty, but it was snazzy for the month!
So snazzy, we threw a Holiday Cocktail party. I got no pictures but it was a lot of fun. Winnie got back home in time for clean up crew.
And Natalie got there in time to bring me an outfit!
Naples! It was warm and relaxing and kid free. Not the best timing (week before Christmas?!!) but grandparents came through as always!
Nash made his 2nd grade Spelling Bee! We were super bummed to miss it and look who showed up AND sent videos, UNC!
We celebrated Molly's baptism. She wore the same gown as all her sisters, cousins, aunties and daddy.
Preschool Program! I survived the fall of teaching 3 year olds. Its really pretty enjoyable. My own sweet cherubs have prepared me nicely.
A nakey-butt Christmas tree post, for good measure.
Christmas in Wilson with the Farris, Asma, Carinci families!
The Grinch, I mean Winnie getting in the Christmas spirit.
Wilson train ride, twins!
My lil elves!
Finished the weekend off with some popcorn & poker.
Aunt Kay & Uncle Bill stopped by with lots of goodies!
(Hey Kay. I know you and my parents are the only ones left reading...)
Sweet cousin snuggles. Might even need to print this one. Winnie is about 5 months older than Lucy, but likes to think she is 5 years.
Chocolate chip cookies for Santa! Give the man what he really wants.
Christmas round 2 with the Winslow, Farris, Fowler families!
Will she always have a Paci? Maybe so, maybe no, 4th kid, really I don't care.
Christmas Eve service. We all looked fancy, but Theo opened up a fresh Panthers jersey, so who could really blame him.
Speaking of that, savage.
And the biggest, sweetest bro.
Santa came! Happy Birthday, Jesus!
Art for Theo.
A black bike with gears for Nash.
An electric scooter for Jackson. This is how we know the big man is real.
Christmas lunch in Goldsboro! Thankful for some pre-meal entertainment by Jackson.
Sorry bud, we ALL want to hold baby Silas!
A visit to see Chuck E. with cousins, while Dad, Grand-daddy and big bros went to the UNC Bowl game in Baltimore.
They stopped in DC and even sent me pictures!
Greatest dudes, I know!
Go Heels!! A whooping. Mack is back, if you haven't talked to Charlie this past year.
Old friends are the best friends and I love it when they come to town and have birthday dinner & drinks with me.
When the bros are away... We stay up till mommy gets home and then we all snuggle.
Luke & Winnie loves! 2 1/2 is the great turn around, when babes will start 'playing' with each other.
A sista-sista birthday wedding! We were all here and celebrated Holli's wedding in Chapel Hill, it was gorgeous.
There is an old picture that circulates around every now and then of me at a past family wedding. I had a really good time. BUT, I HAVE BEEN REPLACED. Thanks, aunt Sarah for helping my kids wind down when we got home...
Christmas in Dixie.... We got a new mattress, so our old one went to the street, bus actually stayed in the front yard. New hood, who dis.
Happy 2019!! We went on a hike. JK - we walked over the I-40 bridge. Did you see us?
