gross
I have gotten used to walking around with snot on my shoulder, food in my greasy hair, slobber running down my shirt and sticky hands. Most of this is from Jackson. When he goes down for the night I look forward to showering off and changing into something clean and cozy until the dirt monkey awakes in the morning. Well, last night as I pulled back the covers I noticed something... dookie spray on my pillow. Hell naw, I had been butt stamped! How long had it been there, I will never know. The culprit, I am pretty sure I have a good idea. I imagine him sleeping in his crib with a big smile across his face, 'sweeeettt dreams mamama.'

Happy Halloween!
Jackson's 2nd Halloween was a success, he even kept his dinosaur hat on for a few minutes! Our neighborhood had a Halloween Parade / Carnival on Sunday and we did a little trick-or-treating tonight on our street. Jackson was not sure about it... I guess he knows not to take candy from strangers.
Please let me push my own wagon, I got places to be...
Ok, I will let my dad pull me as long as he wears the hat...
Roooaarrr, trick or treat!
What? Your having another piece...
Sneaky mama, I know she is trying to get me to go to bed so she can eat my candy!

baking
Fall means time for baking. Pregnant means baking simply for yourself. But tomorrow I am going to shower (atleast rinse off), put on something decent and head over to a 'girl's night.' They promised to have decaf coffee so I promised to bring dessert. I have narrowed it down to the following -
Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars
Reese's Stuffed Crescent Rolls
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pie
Chocolate Coca Cola Cake
Kentucky Derby Pie
Any favorites? It is time to put on my gray sweatpants and get busy.

17 months
My sweet baby Jackson is turning into a little boy. A little boy that loves to mimic everything we do. He is constantly telling me something very important, even though I have no idea what he is saying. He thinks everything is funny and will even give me a fake laugh when he doesn't know what is going on. He is big into puzzles and getting pretty good at them. He loves his books and has a nice long routine of reading atleast 8 of them before he goes to bed. He would stay outside and play all day long if we would let him. He loves his mama and dada almost as much as he loves to suck his thumb and twirl his hair. I love him more than I ever could ever imagine.

fair!
Jackson and I both took our first trip to the State Fair yesterday. Yep my parents never wanted to go because it was a waste of money... Mmm hmmm, you see who took Jackson yesterday, atleast they let me join them!
Please this ride is not even that scary...
BAALLL... Jackson proudly won himself a ball
Whoa, now this slide is a little bit bigger than the one at the park!

due dates
Today I had my 20-week ultrasound appointment and the due date of baby boy #2 was officially moved up a week. We are talking March 2, 2012! The doctor said they do not like to change 'due dates' but there was too much of a difference in what he was measuring in the ultrasound to what was my 'original due date.' He is growing as fast as his big brother and his mama! He looked cute as ever, in a squished alien skinny head sort of way. I am amazed at how much he has already developed in such a short time. Jackson still does not know what is going on. What he does know is that my belly button is starting to stick out and it is ohh so funny to poke it.
And since I am a whole week ahead of what I thought, I promptly came home and ate a row of oreos. I am pretty sure that 'whip' has crack in it.
