10 year reunion!

This weekend I have my 10 year high school reunion.  Did you know if you are the senior class president then you are expected to organize the event?  Well you are, and although 'senior class president' looks good on college applications it will come back to haunt you 10 years later.  It seems as though everyone wants to know when the reunion is and what we are going to do but then no one actually wants go.  I am going to keep my hopes high and get pumped up by listening to the top 100 Hits of 2001 (all classics). If I could sober dance at the prom in 2001 surely I can now?!  And I still have a super hot date to go with me!

Big Bro

Just incase you haven't heard, Jackson is going to be a big brother!!  His brother or sister is scheduled to arrive around March 2nd.  I am almost 18 weeks and feeling like a rockstar, a sleepy chunky one with heart burn, but besides that fa rockstar.  More to come on our growing family...!

hair-cut!

Jackson had his 1st real hair cut 'trim' this weekend.  His dad has been wanting him to get one for some time.  I told him to feel free to take him, I just couldn't cut those curls.  He was a very good little boy sitting in the airplane chair, watching some tv and he got a sucker!  I am going to have to start keeping a stash of suckers in our cabinet at home.  I have never seen him sit so still for so long!

16 months!

For Jackson's 16 month photo shoot he requested to wear his 'Class Clown' t-shirt and pose with Greta.

We are in need of some rainy day ideas for an almost 16 month old!  It is hard to try and spend little to no money by letting Jackson play at the mall kid zone or go to Chic-fil-a  just because they have an awesome indoor playground. (Our 2nd favorite lunch spot!)  And really he could probably stay inside all day organizing the cabinets and cleaning out the trash cans, I am the one that goes stir crazy!  Our favorite outing spot is still the NC Science Museum, definitly getting our moneys worth with the year passes!

Living-Office Room

Really it is Greta's new room.  It is a perfect spot for her to look out the window and warn us of any intruders.  We even kept her stanky old chair, she has pretty much molded into it.  Finally we have atleast one room in the house that is somewhat put together!

We painted the room, re-used some old furniture, got an awesome desk on clearance and put up a huge map!  I borrowed that idea from pinterest.com.  Have you seen that site, if not, don't do it, soo addicting.  Details are here. 

last summer days

Oh how I love summer. I love the heat, long days, cook outs, ice cream, beach, pretty much everything about it.  This weekend the temperatures are supposed to drop.  The first hint of fall creeping in is always exciting.  A little chill in the air, comfy jeans, boots, but it won't last long.  So for now we will soak in these last days of sunshine with just the three of us.
