Tim McGraw!

One more tiny little thing about the conference.  They had a special guest for the awards ceremony.  The 'special guest' was Tim McGraw!! I would like to say I didn't dance on my chair like a 17 year old from Wilson AND touch his hand, but that would be a big fat lie! Cause, I LIKE IT, I LOVE IT, I WANT SOME MORE OF IT!

Oh man, so close, yet so far away.  ;)

And still as good looking as ever.  

National Conference

Jersey Mike's held a National Conference at Disney's Yacht Club Resort last week and we got to go.  Not only did we go and enjoy the resort and a day at Magic Kingdom but I was lucky enough to sit in on a panel presentation, featuring... the one, the only, Charlie Farris.  He rocked it, just as we knew he  would.  Pictures!

We flew out early Sunday morning ALL on the same flight with zero problems.  Right after the hurricane, but before the flooding.  Farris family, Winslow family and Tat & Will! Thanks to Aunt Brittni for the awesome shirts.

Sleepy, excited boys.  Only Jackson got plane / bus motion sickness.  Poor boy, he comes by it naturally.

Sunday lunch at the ESPN Zone.  Nash meeting a football player and checking out his Super Bowl ring (I forgot his name, whoops).  He was telling Nash to keep working hard and he would see him with a ring in 20 years.  Nash replied, 'I know.'  :)

Disney Character breakfast at our hotel.  Also thanks to Aunt Brittni.  It was delicious and pretty cool to have Micky and all the gang eating at our hotel before the big day ahead.  Theo is not a big fan of characters but he did great.  No hugging or anything but no freak attacks.

Monday was Magic Kingdom with Tat & Will!

Jackson was over his motion sickness and loving riding all the rides all the time.  Splash Mountain, still my all time favorite!

Our cousins live right outside of Orlando and surprised us at Disney!  So sweet and so much fun seeing them.  As you can see, everyone hit it off.

Charlie! He was there too just busy at the conference.  I joined him for the awards dinner on Saturday night.  It was a huge production and a lot of fun.  I love being part of the Jersey Mike's franchise.  Always super inspiring, encouraging and GIVING.  A Sub Above.

We escaped Hurricane Flo and all the rain and headed for a quick trip down to Disney World!  Jersey Mike's held its National Convention at the Yacht Club Resort, so the boys and I tagged along.  You read that right, just the boys.  I missed my Winnie but man was it a lot easier to not have to worry about holding that big nugget and all her snacks and dirty diapers.  Aunt Natalie and Grandmama & Granddaddy were the lucky ones.  I think she had fun...  All three of these pictures were sent to me at different times and I couldn't stop giggling.  My girls side-eye game is strong.  You do you, Winnie!

birthing days

We celebrated some cousin birthdays with the Farris clan a few weekends ago.  We all met half-way at a park in Jamestown. We ate nuggets & cupcakes, sang songs, rode trains & carousels, even played some putt-putt!

The train! It may have been Winnie's first? I actually have no idea though. Oops.

The calm before the stom.  Hurricane Florence is supposed to be heading our way.  So far it has been humid and sunny and no school.  I hope it stays that way except for the no school part. 

piano lessons

Big guys had their first piano lesson last week.  They are taking lessons from a dude, James who is in a band (so cool) and he teaches at our house! They both seem fairly interested and no one has cried about practicing yet.  Week 1, boom! Now I have to figure out what to do with everyone else when they are having their lesson.

Pre-school!

Pre-school started back this week!  Theo is in the 4's class and goes M-Th mornings.  We are at Waypoint preschool (3 minutes from our house!!) and he has Señora Winslow! and Mr. Joe.  Winnie is in the 1's and goes T/Th mornings.  She has Ms. Diane and Ms. Myra, just like all her big brothers.  They both rocked their first days!

Victory! I convinced Theo to wear a matching shirt and not a jersey.  Still rocking the socks because it was only 95 degrees out today?!  I took Winnie away from her breakfast for a picture.  Like mother, like daughter.

I remember getting this sweet bag at Winnie's baby shower like it was yesterday.  The first item with her name on it, making it so real.  You are everything I could have dreamed of sweet girl, and more.  I missed my BFF for a whopping 3 hours, but I was super excited they didn't have to call me!

The director sent me this picture.  I replied she makes this face to everyone so I will take it as having a good time.

Laboring

Charlie helped out at the Carolina Beach Jersey Mike's over Labor Day weekend.  We got to tag along!  Will and Tat also joined to help out and do all the things!

A Jmikes golf cart!  The boys are currently saving for their own golf cart.  Not gonna happen.  Unless we get a beach house, then we can talk.  ;)

Boone!

We won a cabin in Boone through the Creekside silent auction last year.  We finally got around to using it the weekend before school started back.  The cabin was perfect, 10 minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from Henry & Lucy, and it had a hot tub!  Really, hot tubs kind of gross me out, which must be why my grossed out boys loved it.

Saturday morning hike! JACKSON, NASH & CHARLIE JUMPED OFF A WATERFALL CLIFF INTO THE WATER ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER COLLEGE KIDS WHOSE MOTHER TOLD THEM TO NEVER DO THAT! I have videos I will post sometime...
