Just 10 short years ago I was a freshman in college laying in my dorm room when my suitemates yelled over to turn on the tv. The World Trade center had just been hit. We sat gathered together on the bed as the second plane struck. At the time I did not even realize the magnitude of this event. Today I pray for the victims of 9/11 and their families. I pray for the increase in faith, hope and love in our world. I will never forget and I hope that my children never have such a memory.
I remember it so clearly too. Watching all the coverage 10 years later is devastating still...with a different thought process now that I am a mom.
