celebrations

What a fun and beautiful day we had to celebrate America! Finally no rain!  Our neighborhood has a kids parade and party at the park in the morning.  Think firetruck, USA tattoos, watermelon, cupcakes and a bouncy house.  What more can a little boy ask for?  Then Jackson had swimming lessons and we hung out at the pool for a while.  That evening we headed over to the neighbors for a little cookout and some fireworks.  Yeah the fireworks did not go over so well for Nash.  Maybe next year. Cheers to July and all the sweat and sweets (I made these for the cookout both delightful Spinach Strawberry Salad & Patriotic Oreo Pops) that come along with it!

Getting all geared up for the parade.

TTTRUUUCK!

Your gonna want to go that way... Be careful workers!

Hope you weren't planning on driving down our parkway this morning. Go USA!

Guest appearance from Spiderman, naturally.  Can't get much more American than Spiderman.

So your telling me we are about to watch things blow up that are really loud and I am supposed to just sit here?
