April!

'MOM!! TOMORROW IS APRIL 1ST!  YOU CAN DO JOKES ON PEOPLE!  AND 12 DAYS TILL YOUR BABY!  I MADE HER THIS.' -NASH
Be still my heart.  A little sister is just what my Nash needs.

baseball nights

We are in full swing with SDLL baseball and tee ball over here.  All 3 boys love it.  Someone spends most of their time keeping Theo off the field, throwing him pitches, feeding him snacks, letting him take videos, anything to keep him entertained.  I am hoping to catch some of an actual game soon enough.  Until then we will let this guy embrace being the youngest, not much time dude!  Good thing you are so stinking cute.

Survive & Advance

Another weekend of March Madness around here.  All is well in the town of Chapel Hill as the Tarheels continue to survive and advance like a boss.  Final Four here we come.  Well not we, although I have caught Charlie looking up tickets on numerous occasions.  A little too close for comfort for me.

We have watched the games with neighbors etc. up until this weekend.  When it gets down to business daddy prefers his couch and being in control of the remote.  His biggest fans are learning to not ask tooooo many questions.  ;)

Half time entertainment at its best.  Jackson and Nash are having their own tournament, bracket and all, and play one basketball game a day.  It has been pretty awesome.  Only a few technicals.

Victory!!  Love the hooting and hollering we can hear outside after a big W!

What's the weather...

Last Week.

Yesterday.

Whatever you say North Carolina.  Not keeping us inside.  And I am wearing large black pants and t-shirts either way.  You won't see me in a snow coat or bathing suit.  I might wear shoes.  LESS THAN 3 weeks, but who is counting.  Still waiting for that 'nesting' bug to kick in.

Baby Sprinkle

When it is your 4th child you really do not need any sort of baby shower.  We have everything we need (diapers, wipes, boobs) and have gotten rid of everything we don't (wipe warmers, bottle heaters, magic sleep blankets).  But, family and friends insist, it is a GIRL for crying out loud.  We will NOT let her wear these hand me downs.  So they hosted a brunch, the prettiest, sweetest, pinkest, little girl brunch you can imagine.  I loved every single minute of it.  Baby Girl is going to be one stylist little nugget.

Beautiful invitations for the 'sprinkle.'  Everything coordinated perfectly because my sister is a teacher - and my long lost OCD self rejoiced.

Word is out! We shall call her Baby 'Winnie!'  Short for Winslow, my maiden name.  No middle name yet, may be a last minute call at the hospital.  And thanks to my mama for the dress and making me look and feel decent at 36 weeks.

We even had games.  I said no games, but they were sneaky, and fun!  Price is Right - you guessed the price of baby items and Celebrity Name Game - you matched the celebrity with their baby's name.  Embarrassingly enough I got most of these right.

The serious spread of donuts, casseroles, parfaits, biscuits, cinnamon bread...  Along with mimosas, pink lemonade and coffee.

One happy, lucky, spoiled, blessed (all the cheesy words) mama and lots of PINK!  Confession, I never really liked monogram stuff, but I can't stop staring at the 'Winnie' monograms, I am a changed woman.

Clean up crew.  They had Little League Opening Ceremonies (THANK-YOU for my pictures all the time Carrie!!) and then swooped in to take down the left overs.  Big brothers are going to be the best.

Big Brothers

Baby girl and I were completely spoiled with the best baby shower today! More details and pictures to come -I took none, so hoping someone else did?! My sister asked the boys questions earlier in the week and then read out a few of the answers to us.  For your entertainment, number 9 might be my favorite.

4 weeks!

We got 4 weeks to keep this baby inside.  Some days, I am not sure if we are gonna make it.  Last week the doctor estimated she was around 7lbs and has a big ol' head, neither of which came as a surprise to me.  Jackson thinks it is hilarious that he can no longer wrap his arms around me.  Nash still loves to feel her kick and watch my stomach move from across the couch, 'OH MY GOSH, DID YOU DO THAT?'  Theo has mentioned his 'baby sister' and asked what happened to my belly button, but mostly he is still cool with ignoring it all, making me carry him, sleeping in his crib (with a paci) and crapping his diaper, all of which I had planned to stop before baby.
This weekend I am having a little baby 'sprinkle!'  My mom and sister took me shopping to get an outfit this afternoon.  I think they were worried I would wear my cotton black dress and drape a long cardigan over it with some slip on shoes - I don't see the problem here...  I am not a big clothes shopper and the last thing I want to do right now is try anything on.  They did mention a pedicure afterwards, so I caved.  It was glorious and I might just go back next week.

Even got that fake daiquiri

Lost Tooth!

Someone lost a tooth and man oh man were they pumped! Nash has been wiggling away at his bottom tooth.  He has also been pretty nervous about anyone touching it, if it will hurt when it comes out, will there be lots of blood, what if he swallows it etc, etc.  I was attempting to use the bathroom early Saturday morning, while everyone was in there, Theo wondering if he can flush it and if I get a treat for going in the potty and Nash standing on the sink looking at his tooth... next thing I know, 'MOM! MY TOOTH IS OUT! I'M NOT CRYING! IT DIDN'T EVEN HURT! A LITTLE BLOOD BUT IT IS OK!!'
Snaggle Tooth!

A man of many words.  He got that fresh $1 bill though!

Fresh Cuts

I love a fresh haircut on these handsome boys!

It was time...

buckets!

It is March Madness time!  Theo is obsessed.  And for a 2 1/2, dude is pretty good.  Keep living the dream my boy.  You know what they say,  'The roof is the ceiling.' -Michael Jordan

weekending

This weekend was some kind of busy.  I am getting pretty uncomfortable and I do not like not being in control - like chasing Theo down the street while literally holding my belly, among other things.  I am gonna be thankful that one is still in my belly for the next month and try and not complain too much.  And pretend I totally have things under control around here...

Saturday was filled with some early morning basketball games, first Nash and then Jackson.  They pulled off 2 W's and both really hustled.  We are working on it being ok to lose and that rankings don't really matter.  They are obsessed with rankings. Our car ride talk to the games -
Jackson - 'One team I don't ever want to play mom... UConn women!  They haven't lost in 103 games.  Who do you think would win, Golden State Warriors or UConn women?'
Me - 'Ahmm, probably still the Warriors.'
Jackson - 'Well you must not know, Steph Curry missed 11 3-point shots in a row last night.'
Me - 'Nope, didn't know that.'
Maybe a little too much ESPN around here.

Go Nash! Or Theo having to sit by himself for throwing balls at 5 year olds...

Go Jackson! Or Theo, get off the court before you get hit with a ball!
Super thankful for other moms that take pictures and videos for me!!

After that we visited dad at Jersey Mike's and grabbed a peaceful bite to eat...  Next up was baseball practice.  We missed Jackson's (shhhh) but made it to Nash's first one.  Dude was pumped it was his turn to start baseball.
A WIN for mommy.

That afternoon was some birthday party fun and then prepping for the UNC vs. Duke game.  Our neighbors had a party so we headed over there for the first half.  Everyone headed home at half-time to finish watching the game.  This is serious business around these parts.  Tar heels pulled off the victory this time around and all is well in Chapel Hill.
Sunday we were the 'teachers' in Theo's Sunday school class, headed to church, lunch and our last flag football game!  This season really went by fast and the weather could not have been more glorious.

Go Patriots!!

Sunday afternoon we had a church potluck (ok, lets get real, subs) at our house.  I love having people over but think I am done until after baby girl gets here.  I was feeling pretty exhausted.  But this was the only big overlapping sports weekend when Charlie was working.  We can do this!  Monday morning was a welcome site.

A runner, a streaker, so much for leaving our doors unlocked.  Help me Jesus.

Introducing...!

Meet Luke Emmet Fowler, my sweet squishy brand spanking new nephew.  Lucky little dude looks just like his big sister and brother.  I cannot wait to get my hands on him and all the Fowler Family!  And my sister is a freaking baby pushing rock star.

Breakfast Club

Theo's new favorite thing to do - 'MOM! High Five... SIKKEEEEEE'  The stuff a 2 year-old with big brothers learns is scary.  I apologize in advance to all his friends and their moms.

Flag Football

These boys absolutely love flag football.  They are on the same team and dad is the coach.  I wasn't sure if 'same team' was going to be a good idea but it has worked out great and they really play well together.  We have some serious strategy talk going on around here on Sunday mornings.  If you need any details just ask Nash, but I should mention he had a two point conversion and interception last week and his big bro a touch down pass.  They also got the Sportsmanship Award for not giving up when chasing down opponents and helping their teammates.  This makes mom happy.
